It seems that I can pretty much Blog on cue about funny things that the kids do, things that happened while growing up and all of our neighborhood birds. I've even been posting about my BLOG name becoming reality-MOVIN MOM-and all of it's unknown possibilities.
BUT ...last Friday -5 DAYS AGO- we got the news. We're on the move once again.
From the beautiful windy city of Chicago suburbs to Green Bay, Wisconsin.
I have no idea why I could not muster up the creative writing or words to be clever, humorous, or even a bit witty about this move. My plan was to create a mystery post having you all guess where we were going while I threw out the daily hints, perhaps even a prize for the first correct guess. HOWEVER when my hubby called to give me the word, I just sat there.
What were my hints suppose to be a wheel of cheese atop o' my head, a hardcore green and gold football fan, a huge indoor water park, yeah......they were all pretty much dead giveaways.
Neither one of us has ever stepped foot in Green Bay , in fact I have never even crossed the Wisconsin border but I have been online checking out schools and houses because lets face it the only fun part of this is getting to get a new house.
So we are going to explore this weekend. Just for a day. On our own. Hubby , me & the kiddos. Oh yeah the kiddos....some may ask how are they taking it. Well...Oldest who will be a sophomore in the fall seemed to be the most upset, 2nd born seems okay with it but he had a friend who moved last week to Laguna Beach-(now thats a move to BLOG about) Daughter also seems okay with it but you know the 2 in the middle are pleasers so they have always just gone with the flow. The youngest asks daily, " Wait, are we moving?" I say "YES, we are going to explore this weekend so you guys can see what it is like" He responds with, " So we're moving to Green Bay this weekend?"
This conversation happens daily!
So if there are anymore closet knowledgeable Green Bay people out there post it up here and give me the 411!!!!
As for me, I am off to finish painting, cleaning, organizing, storing, and stressing to get ready to put the house on the market
I only have my hubby a few more weeks.
