STOP THE PRESSES...
TODAY IS THE DAY THAT I CROSS THE THRESHOLD OF LAMBEAU FIELD.
4 MONTHS OF PEOPLE LOOKING AT ME AS IF I HAVE A 3RD EYEBALL BECAUSE I HAVE YET TO ATTEND A PACKER GAME.
IT SEEMS TO BE THE MAJORITY CONCENSUS THAT THE PACKER GAME IS AN EXPERINCE OF A LIFETIME.
I'VE HEARD SIMILAR OPINIONS WHEN REFERRING TO A VISIT TO WRIGLEY FIELD TO WATCH THE CUBS REGARDLESS OF THE LOSSES.
(I WOULD AGREE, THE STEP BACK IN TIME IS PRICELESS)
HOWEVER, I AM NOT A HUGE FOOTBALL FAN. I WOULD NORMALLY ONLY CHOOSE TO FREEZE IN STADIUM SEATING IF ONE OF MY CHILDREN WERE ON THE FIELD.
WHEN MY HUSBND TOLD ME A MONTH AGO THAT WE HAD BEEN INVITED TO GO (GETTING TICKETS IS CLOSE TO IMPOSSIBLE)
I JUST SAID,"OKAY."
CONTEMPLATING THAT FEELING I GET TOWARDS THE END OF THE FIRST QUARTER, "WHAT.....WE'RE NOT EVEN IN THE 2ND QUARTER YET?'
BUT I CANNOT LIVE HERE FOR THE SHORT AMOUNT OF TIME THAT WE USUALLY RESIDE WITHOUT HAVING SAID I HAD BEEN.
THEN HE TOLD ME , "WE'RE GOING TO BE IN A SUITE!"
:) NOW WE'RE TALKING......APPETIZERS, DRINKS, NO JACKET...NOW I KNOW, I AM ABOUT TO HAVE A PACKER EXPERIENCE! :)
CHAPTER 2 OF THIS EVENT WILL CONTINUE TOMORROW......HOPEFULLY I WILL BE ABLE TO GET SOME PHOTO OPS.
